My Aidan
I'm really tired. I'm burning out, and it's only Tuesday night. The lack of sleep is getting to me and I feel kind of helpless because it's not that I don't want to sleep, but because I have so much to do that I can't afford the time to sleep. I got 11 hours of sleep in the last three nights, which averages out to barely four hours of sleep each night. And I've got two deadlines this Friday, and they're barely even half done. But I'm glad I'm home tonight, though. I don't think I could have survived the whole week in that slave school without coming home to be pampered and loved a little.
Sometimes, I wonder why mass comm students work so hard. I was talking to Denise online, and it hit me when we were talking about school that I have twenty-two and a half hours of lessons each week. Denise only has twelve hours, which is about half of what I have. And Cheryl has thirteen hours, and she's in law, which - what the hell - is a more recognised and prestigious degree than mine and here I am working my ass off. The pain would be alleviated if breaks were really breaks, but no, breaks are when project meetings are being held and work is rushing to be completed.
I'm so tired.
But hall life has sprung a new surprise on me! Shuhui and I bumped into the cutest guy while in the elevator today. He's this white guy who looks like Sex and the City's Aidan Shaw! AHHH. Really super cute - the build, the hair, the smile - suddenly I was a breathless Carrie Bradshaw. Okay, that's abit of an exaggeration but he's HOT. He was about to walk out of the elevator on the 3rd floor where Shu and I got on, but when he saw us and realised it was the 3rd floor, he said, "Oh, you must be tricking me." And then he said hi and smiled adorably when we got into the elevator - and of course he smiled again and said bye when he got off at the 4th floor! Shu and I couldn't stop talking about him once we got back to the room. Going back to my room in hall is now going to be an exciting journey indeed, lest I bump into him. I shall make frequent trips to the kitchenette on the 4th floor from now on, cos that's where he stays. Haha.
But Shuhui and I both agreed though - in any circumstance, if caught in between, it's always best friends over guys.
