Tiramisu and sparkling white wine

My Glam Girls and sparkling white wine

Happy Birthday Nick

Tiramisu and sparkling white wine is my official favourite dessert. Especially tiramisu from "My Secret Garden", where Nick had his 21st birthday bash. It was simply delectable. Just the right amount of coffee and all that... I'm no tiramisu connoisseur but trust me, this one was amazing. Shuhui, Sharon, Julienne and I just glued ourselves to our seats and looked posh with the wine glasses in our hands. It was a great party - Lovely ambience, yummy food (including a chocolate fountain, and of course, the tiramisu!), great company and of course a well-deserved birthday boy. Nick totally deserved the party - he's been a great friend and is forever being gentlemanly and generous. :)

Because of Chopra's 107 class today, I know everything there is need to know about the Oscars that was held last night. Read it, wrote a radio broadcast on it and heard it being read out four times.

So congratulations, Lee Ang.

Marketing was a total rage-building up session as usual. The stupid lecturer cannot stop offering points to people who answer questions - I mean, that's just dumb because it defeats the purpose of why the students start to sound as enthusiastic as they've ever been in their lives. There are these obvious lamebrains who do not say a word in class before, who now speak up, offering less than brilliant answers just so they can get a 'tick' right next to their name. Indeed, Arthur Soh gets his interactive class, but at the expense of incredulity at the CS table. A little-too-loud disgruntled sounds from Jan and eye-rolls from Fel. And much bitching.

Marketing is a bitch. Twenty pages of the non-assessed case analysis and just a few red marks with useless comments. Other than that, I might as well have not handed up the paper.

Feeling rather demoralised and disillusioned about alot of things. Cannot wait for Hong Kong; it's my only aim and goal in life at this point. Shu totally laughed at me on Sunday night when I pinned up our travel plans on our notice board and when I said that we should "get our priorities straight" when referring to the holiday. She made us film the whole scene all over again on my digital camera. Hahaha. But it really is what I'm working towards to now, all the projects and crap I'm getting right now - Hong Kong will make up for it.
